Looking Ahead: The Broward League of Cities’ Scholarship for Government Studies Program has donated more than $40,000 in financial assistance to students pursuing areas of study that benefit municipal government professionalism. This year the League is awarding two $2,500 scholarships to two very deserving high school seniors who have already demonstrated an impressive resume of internships and volunteerism in governmental, community, and legislative environments.
