Looking Ahead: In June, we celebrate Pride Month recognizing LGBTQ+ individuals and the tremendous contributions they’ve made in our communities. While we may not be able to gather in person for community celebrations, let us make sure we take time to acknowledge the great strides that have been made in attaining equal rights for the LGBTQ+ community. We must remember all those who have worked against social injustice and who continue to fight against any form of discrimination. We are one Broward, and when we work together to ensure equal rights for all, we are a stronger and better community.
