Looking Ahead: Next Friday marks the 19th anniversary of the terrorist attack on America. This year, many in-person tributes and memorials are canceled due to COVID-19, a somber reminder of how turbulent the times we live in still are. While we face many current challenges, it seems more important than ever to reflect on our past. I encourage everyone to take a moment of silence this September 11 to remember the victims and honor the survivors and heroes from that day. Let us never forget, and let us also use this as an opportunity to thank the everyday heroes serving our communities.
