Looking Back: On behalf of the Broward League of Cities, I would like to congratulate Councilman Isaac Salver of Bay Harbor Islands on his installation as President of the Florida League of Cities (FLC) last weekend. The FLC’s Annual Conference was hosted in Orlando, and in addition to President Salver’s installation, attendees discussed items for the FLC 2020 Legislative Action Agenda. Attendees were also pleased to hear from Governor Ron DeSantis who spoke in support of home rule and economic stability. We look forward to working with President Salver in the coming year as we continue our work to unite one Broward.
