Looking Ahead: Thanksgiving is a time to gather with friends and family, reflect on blessings, and celebrate accomplishments. As residents of Broward County we have much to celebrate and be thankful for. This year we have seen unprecedented economic growth and a steady drop in unemployment. We have also seen leaders and communities come together to address issues ranging from solid waste to public safety and plans to improve infrastructure. I am thankful for all we have accomplished, and am humbled to represent such a diverse and resilient County. On behalf of the Broward League, we wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all.
