Looking Ahead: I recently had the opportunity to participate in a panel on the role of regionalism in sustainable growth in South Florida. It was an important reminder that many of the growing pains we feel in Broward County are also being felt by our neighbors in Dade and Palm Beach Counties. Issues surrounding transportation, infrastructure, rising seas, and affordable housing do not know boundaries or barriers. As we continue to see unprecedented county-wide growth, it is imperative that we work towards collaborative solutions with our neighbors. As we are one united Broward, we should strive to be one united South Florida.
