Looking Forward: In April, we will begin the important task of taking the 2020 Census. As one of the most diverse and vibrant counties in Florida, it is incumbent upon us to ensure an accurate census count is taken for Broward County. An accurate census count can affect everything from our state’s representation in Washington D.C., to the dispersion of federal funding to local communities. I encourage all citizens of Broward County to educate themselves on the Census. To learn more about the Census and how to get involved visit http://bit.ly/BLOCCensus2020.
