Looking ahead: April is National Volunteer Month, a time to honor efforts of volunteers in our community and encourage volunteerism to those in need. Our community has come together since the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas and has shown how a great change can be made through committed and dedicated volunteers. There are many ways to give back to your community and by volunteering, you become a part of something bigger than yourself. Even the smallest task can make a difference.
