Last week: The Broward League of Cities School and Community Public Safety Task Force, formed in the wake of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School tragedy, presented the first comprehensive look at what needs to be and what can be done to improve school and community safety at large. The task force, consisting of a broad array of representative stakeholders researched, discussed and gathered information. Their initial report has been issued so that decision makers and the public can begin making informed decisions on resources, policy changes, budget decisions, and procedures.
