Looking Back: I would like to personally congratulate Representative Shevrin Jones of House District 101 and Senator Perry Thurston of Senate District 33 on their election as Chair and Vice Chair, respectively, of Broward County’s Legislative Delegation. Representative Jones and Senator Thurston have been steadfast advocates for so many of the critical issues affecting the everyday lives of our nearly 2 million Broward citizens. As leaders of our 2019-2020 delegation, they will ensure that our interests remain a focus in Tallahassee through the upcoming legislative session and beyond. I know their efforts will help us continue to work toward building a more united Broward.
