Looking Back: Last weekend, the USA Women’s Soccer Team secured a record fourth win in the Women’s World Cup. This marks the fifth time that the U.S. Women’s team has reached a World Cup final, making them the first to reach three consecutive finals. I wonder how many of our children playing in our parks and participating in our sports and recreation programs will become the star athletes of tomorrow. Local programs provide Broward youth an excellent opportunity to stay active and train for future success. Let’s celebrate the achievements of athletes at home and abroad as we recognize this historic win.
