Last week: We were pleased to welcome more than 250 mayors from the U.S., Latin America and the Caribbean to the U.S. Conference of Mayors 85th Annual Meeting, which concluded today in Miami Beach. For the past three days, mayors have been discussing a wide range of issues including comprehensive immigration reform, affordable healthcare access, the federal budget, public safety, and reduction of carbon emissions in U.S. cities. Mayors shared ideas, information, and best practices. Despite the differences of their geographic locations, cities large and small face many of the same challenges. Our congratulations to Miami Beach as the host city. Read
