Last week: The shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School has altered the fabric of our community. We lost 17 vibrant lives and their loved ones will endure the pain of their loss forever. How we recover and the lessons we learn from this most horrible day will test all of us. Regardless of the issues involved in this tragedy, we must have the challenging, difficult and in some cases, polarizing conversations on issues that will help to prevent future catastrophic incidents.
