Looking Ahead: After you are finished celebrating Christmas, why not celebrate sustainability by participating in the Broward County Chip-a-Tree initiative. Tree recycling is a great way to start your new year’s resolution by making environmentally friendly plans to avoid the landfill and minimize your carbon footprint. The program which runs from December 26, 2022, through January 16, 2023, is free to Broward County residents. So, this year help our ONE Broward Community by bringing your undecorated tree to one of the 12 participating County parks. Here the useful life of your tree will continue as the chips will be used for landscaping.
