Looking Forward: The 2020 U.S. Census reveals that 1 in 4 eligible Americans aren’t registered to vote. The consequential impact is that millions of Americans will be sitting on the sidelines during this year’s mid-term election on November 8, 2022. So, in celebration of democracy, our nation will recognize Tuesday, September 20th as the 10th anniversary of National Voter Registration Day. I encourage all newly eligible voters and those who recently relocated to Broward County to embrace their right to vote. Don’t miss your opportunity for your voice to be heard especially when electing your local municipal, county, and school board leaders.
