Looking Back: Following the resignations of Dale Holness and Barbara Sharief, who both ran for Congress, the Governor appointed District 8 Commissioner Jared Moskowitz and District 9 Commissioner Torey Alston in November. Last week, they were sworn in to serve on the Broward County Commission. Both are known to share civil discourse to make change happen. It is an honor to have these two Broward County natives serve our 31 cities. We are thrilled to have them onboard as we work together as ONE Broward to protect home rule and build a brighter future for our residents.
