Looking Ahead: Shana Tova to all who celebrated Rosh Hashanah this past week. Rosh Hashanah commemorates the Jewish New Year and begins a 10-day period of introspection and repentance that will culminate at sundown this coming Wednesday with Yom Kippur. Also known as the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur is the most sacred and solemn day of the year for our Jewish neighbors. I wish all who are observing Yom Kippur a meaningful and easy fast.
