Looking Ahead: On Monday we will celebrate Labor Day, a federal holiday established in 1894 in recognition and honor of the American labor movement and the contributions and achievements of the American worker. Today’s equitable pay scales and working conditions are most certainly due to labor’s ongoing advocacy efforts for the past 120 years. Additionally, this week, we will all pause to remember 9/11 and the horrendous attacks that changed our country forever. Please take time to pause and honor those nearly 3000 lives lost on that tragic day 20 years ago.
