Looking Ahead: If you’re like me and have grandkids or little ones in your life, water safety is a top priority. While beautiful, the close proximity to the ocean and the sheer number of rivers, lakes, and pools in our county is cause for pause when it comes to ensuring our kids have the skills they need to be safer in and around water. May is National Water Safety Month, it’s the perfect time to make sure everyone in your family learns how to swim and has the knowledge and skills to handle water-related emergencies, including how to perform CPR.
