Looking Ahead: Over the past several days, residents of Broward County, as well as others nationally, have come together to exercise their right to assemble to address grievances and concerns. The issues at stake are very important, and the ongoing protests have brought attention to the tragedies of bias and lives lost. It’s vital that, as we continue to exercise our rights as Americans, we do so peacefully and lawfully. We all need to focus on active listening and embrace collaboration as we come together as a community to address these significant issues. We are one Broward. Let’s work together.
