Looking Ahead: Wednesday marked the first day of school for Broward County Public Schools (BCPS). Starting the new year virtually may seem daunting, especially for parents, many of whom continue to work and manage household responsibilities, and now find themselves responsible for their child’s daily education. I encourage parents to learn more about the resources available to guide them through this different and challenging school year. In addition to free access to Microsoft Office programs and a hotline available between 3:30 and 9 p.m. for students, there are many tools to support young and secondary students through the BCPS Innovative Learning Department.
