Looking Back: Last week I wrote an Op Ed that was published in the Sun- Sentinel (https://bit.ly/blocSunSentinelOpEd) highlighting the remarkable work being done by our municipal leaders and staff in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. That work continued last week when all 31 cities and towns in Broward County came together to adopt safer-at-home orders. As municipal governments, we are taking appropriate and necessary actions to protect our residents from the spread of COVID-19. We are truly One Broward in this unified effort, and I encourage all our residents to be safe, be healthy, and be smart.
