Last week: Elected officials from Broward County’s cities joined Broward County Mayor Barbara Sharief Saturday night and hundreds of supporters at United Way’s black-tie Mayors’ Gala. The message was clear: By working together as a team on common goals, elected officials make our communities even better places to live and work, and improve lives for all our residents. It is this spirit of collaboration and shared vision that help shape our future and make our cities places of which we can be proud.
