FORT LAUDERDALE, FL. (June 21, 2022) – On May 13, 2022, the Broward League of Cities (the League) installed Parkland Commissioner Bob Mayersohn as its 2022-2023 President, as well as its Executive Committee and Board of Directors at the 65th Annual Gala at the Margaritaville Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida.

Following his swearing in ceremony, President Mayersohn unveiled his vision for the year ahead- Embrace ONE Broward.  “Embracing each other’s differences is how we break down the silos,” said President Mayersohn. “As ONE Broward we must continue to come together and have the necessary conversations that will move the needle forward on the many important issues facing our Broward community.”

Representatives from all 31 cities in Broward County voluntarily serve on the League’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. The following officers have been appointed to the League’s Executive Committee:

  • First Vice President – Commissioner Todd Drosky, Deerfield Beach
  • Second Vice President – Mayor Felicia Brunson, West Park
  • Secretary – Commissioner Sabrina Javellana, Hallandale Beach
  • Treasurer – Commissioner Gary Resnick, Wilton Manors
