Looking Back: This past week municipal officials and staff attended the Florida League of Cities 2021 Annual Conference. The conference offered several opportunities to learn from municipal experts, share ideas, and discuss strategies for Florida’s future. In addition, the League’s 2022 Legislative Action Agenda was presented. Here in Broward, we will use that Agenda to guide our advocacy efforts at the state Capitol especially when it comes to advocating for home rule. Now more than ever before our cities must remain united to strengthen our ability to make local choices.
