Looking Ahead: As National Military Appreciation Month comes to a close, I urge everyone to continue to honor both active and former members of our armed forces. The men and women who serve our country do so selflessly to protect our freedom. Tomorrow, we remember those who gave their lives while serving our country. Many of us will have the day off. Please see if your city or a neighboring city is hosting a Memorial Day ceremony and attend. The fallen deserve our honor and gratitude for the ultimate sacrifice they have made to our country.
