Looking Ahead: This week, May 2-8, marks the 52nd anniversary of Municipal Clerks Week sponsored by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. While your city or town clerk may not be a very visible figure, know that he or she plays a very important role in the day-to-day operations of your city. Your city clerk is responsible for all the administrative functions related to maintaining the public records for your city and manages the municipal elections process. If you see your city clerk next time you visit city hall, thank him/her for all that they do each and every day!
