Looking Ahead: April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. The month is dedicated to recognizing the importance of families and communities working together to strengthen families to prevent child abuse and neglect. This past year the pandemic presented unprecedented challenges for many of our Broward families. Now as ONE Broward, we must all do our part to create a stronger support system. Whether it’s volunteering, donating or simply reviewing the 2021/2022 Prevention Resource Guide published by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services – there are actions we can all take to address the root causes of child abuse and neglect.
