Looking Ahead: One of the positions I admire most at the state level is Emergency Management Director. Even before COVID-19 set in, our state is so unique in its need for exceptional emergency management services six months out of the year when our 411 incorporated municipalities brace for hurricane season. This past year, with all the additional logistical components the pandemic presented, Jared Moskowitz exhibited extraordinary leadership and poise. On behalf of the Broward League of Cities, I thank him for his service to our state during this difficult time and wish him well as he begins his next chapter.
