Looking Ahead: Broward Health has selected Shane Strum as its next CEO. On behalf of the Broward League of Cities, we thank him for his work in Tallahassee as Governor DeSantis’ Chief of Staff and look forward to working and collaborating with him in this new role. We also extend our appreciation to Gino Santorio who has served as CEO of Broward Health for the past three years. Under Mr. Santorio’s leadership, Broward Health has provided extraordinary care throughout COVID -19. We are thankful for our partnership with Broward Health and look forward to continuing our efforts on behalf of our residents.
