Looking Back: On December 1st we recognized World AIDS Day. HIV/AIDS affects people from all walks of life in communities across the globe. I urge my fellow Broward County residents to unite in the fight to end HIV, support people living with HIV, and honor all those who have lost their lives to the disease. To educate us and raise awareness, the CDC has published a variety of resources regarding testing, prevention, partnerships, treatment, and more – check them out at https://www.cdc.gov/hiv/library/awareness/wad.html.
