Looking Ahead: As we navigate the ongoing effects of COVID-19, I encourage my fellow residents to continue to remember the first responders, essential workers, and healthcare workers who are at the center of this crisis. The challenges faced by emergency and healthcare personnel change and escalate daily, and the responsibilities they bear are great. I thank these vital members of the Broward community for their continued hard work. One way to honor these workers is by respecting the safety of our community. Let’s come together as one united Broward to fight COVID-19 by following guidelines in place to ensure our community’s safety.
