Looking Back: It has been an honor and privilege to serve as President of the Broward League of Cities this year. Together we faced many challenges and celebrated many accomplishments. We made great strides in improving public safety for our 31 cities, continued our pursuit of long-term solutions to solid waste, and made home rule a focus in Tallahassee. While times may be uncertain, I am confident that the League’s future leaders will continue our momentum forward as one united Broward County. Congratulations to Incoming President Hollywood Commissioner Traci Callari, I look forward to working with her and the great municipal elected officials in Broward County.
