Looking Back: This year marks the 80th anniversary of United Way of Broward County. Originally known as the Community Chest, this organization celebrates a rich history of community partnership, support, and mobilization. From work in the fields of education and public health, to a focus on financial literacy in local communities, United Way continues to display dedication to the rights and quality of life for Broward citizens. On behalf of the Broward League and our 31 municipal members, we congratulate the United Way of Broward County on this milestone anniversary; thank you for 80 years of service and dedication to our community.
