April 21 — Looking Ahead: For the last nine years, Broward League of Cities’ Government Studies program has awarded $32,000 in scholarships to students preparing for careers in public service. Scholarship recipients are carefully selected for their dedication to public service as demonstrated by involvement in work, internships, and volunteerism in governmental, community, and legislative environments. This year we have four outstanding students who will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Congratulations to Taryn Bradley of Hollywood, Eszter Erdei of Plantation, Chanice Lee of Lauderhill, and Nicholas Mancini of Parkland for your inspiring dedication to your communities. We wish you luck in future endeavors!
