A Message from the President

Dear Colleagues and Members,

It is both a sincere honor and a great responsibility to serve as the 2025-2026 President of the Broward League of Cities. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for your continued dedication to the municipalities we are proud to represent. Together, we have shaped One Broward into our collective identity and mission.

Over the years, we have Built, Connected, Empowered, Engaged, United, Energized, Embraced, Innovated, and Experienced ONE Broward. These values have served as the foundation of our shared progress, guiding how we collaborate, serve, and lead. Now, we carry this momentum into the next year.

My initiative this year is “Leading ONE Broward,” and I could not think of a more fitting name for the work ahead.

This initiative speaks directly to each of us. As elected officials, our communities have chosen us to lead, and develop strong and thoughtful public policies, make decisions that help our residents, and collaborate in a spirit of respect, trust, and unity.

“Leading ONE Broward” reminds us that leadership isn’t just about holding office. It’s also about holding ourselves accountable to a higher standard. It’s about working together to strengthen confidence in our municipal governments and making the best decisions possible for our residents and stakeholders. And perhaps most importantly, it’s about ensuring that when our time in office comes to an end, we can say with pride that we left our cities better than we found them.

This is yet another opportunity to lead not just within our boundaries, but as a united front across all 31 municipalities in Broward County.

The League will continue its progress by identifying challenges, promoting best practices, and advocating for policies that strengthen our cities and county.

As we look ahead, I invite each of you to reflect on the role you have, not just in your city, but in this greater community we call home. Leadership requires courage, collaboration, and a deep commitment to something greater than ourselves.

“Leading ONE Broward” is a call to action. I encourage you to lend your voice, your vision, and your leadership to this collective effort. Together, we will continue to trail blaze and set the standard for Florida and the nation.
