Looking ahead: It’s not a matter of “if” but “when” your computer will be hit, cyber-attack experts warn us. There are routines each of us can follow to protect the safety of our computers. Never open an email unless it is from someone you trust and never click on a link. Back up your data regularly and install security updates as soon as they are released. Create passwords that do not include your birthday, address or information that can be tracked and avoid using the same password more than once.
