Sun Sentinel 100 April 12, 2015 – Broward County cities that are working to improve the quality of life for their residents by actively supporting 1. Tobacco Free Living, 2. Active Living and Healthy Eating, 3. Healthy and Safe Physical Environments, and 4. Clinical and Community Linkages to prevent, manage and reduce disease, can be recognized for their efforts by becoming a Partner for Healthy Community Zones. The initiative, through TOUCH Broward, is accepting applications from April 15 to June 15. We encourage every city to become a partner and by doing so, demonstrate its commitment to foster health, economic development and education in our communities. www.TOUCHBroward.org/HCZ.
