Sun Sentinel 100 April 5, 2015 – Careers in public service are of interest to Broward County teens! Four outstanding Broward County high school students competed to win scholarships for $1,000 through the Broward League of Cities’ Government Studies program. The program assists high school seniors planning to attend a college or university to pursue a major in public administration, political science or other government-related field. The awards are made possible thanks to the personal contributions of Broward County elected officials and League associate members. It’s exciting to imagine how these young people may influence change in our cities through careers in government and public service. Read article.
