Sun Sentinel 100 March 15, 2015 – If the nation’s biggest shopping mall is approved to be built in northwestern Miami-Dade County, the entire region will feel its impact and potential economic boost. Because “American Dream Miami” will have such broad, regional impact, Broward County should be included in the review discussions along with Miami-Dade. We should already be considering the influence of the mall on our southern most cities including Pembroke Pines and Miramar. A project of this size will provide an opportunity for the two counties to work together, trusting and utilizing our regional impact process. Read article.
