Hats off to our city commissioners for the great work they do every day, but most recently for their collaboration on a plan for an infrastructure surtax that includes construction and improvement of municipal projects to be presented to voters in November. Each of our 31 cities played a role in moving the plan ahead, and collectively they worked with Broward County to link infrastructure with transportation for a joint tax. This was an excellent example of Broward League of Cities’ “Connect ONE BROWARD,” that continues to demonstrate how much more can be achieved when we join forces and work together. Read.
