President David Rosenof in Sun Sentinel 100

One thing we can be sure of is our tourists. Our 23 miles of pristine beaches and more than 300 miles of inland waterways last year attracted a record 15.3 million visitors who spent $14.1 billion here. Hotel occupancy is at 81.1 percent, far ahead of the Florida average of 74.9. Much of our success is due to Nicki Grossman, president of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau, who after 21 years will retire this summer. Under her leadership, we have experienced 70 months of record growth and anticipate 16 million tourists visiting here next year. Thank you Nicki! Read
