Sun Sentinel 100 June 28, 2015 – The Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization is keeping us focused on public transportation systems and its need for funding. Compared to Miami, where clogged roadways and snarled traffic become more frustrating every day, Broward continues to educate itself about its public transportation needs, especially as development, which generates even more traffic, is increasing. Our cities play an important role in understanding and articulating their individual transportation needs, what needs to change or be improved, and how it relates to traffic flow throughout the County. It will all boil down to securing funding for transportation and infrastructure to keep us moving.
