Whether it’s a natural disaster, a cyber-attack, or a lone terrorist, cities and municipalities must have a plan for how to deal with disasters. Elected officials, law enforcement, fire protection, healthcare, transportation, energy, water management and others have to know the role they will play when disaster hits. And the business community needs to be a partner in rehearsing for how to cope with an unexpected catastrophe. With a well thought out and flexible plan, we’ll stand the best chance of being prepared for the next disaster. It’s just a matter of time until it will come. Read article.
